Basically Misriah Armory had M7 SMG ammo set for smg ammo (which is .45) when the weapon is chambered in 10mm. the MA5D is chambered in .308, but ammo was 556. and so on. Also some of the weapons have different ammo type that they can be chambered in, but npcs spawn with the standard.
