I agree it definetly could be improve. the reason for it is 1) campus is directly next to the sports area 2) the campus is square so it was easier to find spaces to put them 3) the sports area is i weird shape to it was harder to fit parking around the square buildings with curved roads. If you just want to save money, on-street parking is MVP and with careful placement you could make your own (very ugly) parking lot. The Overground Parking Building is shockingly bad. P.S. the train station has 56 to 88 spots depending on its upgrades.
