Some would say '02 as they had worked out most of the bugs, but I think '01.5 as they hadn't started decontenting yet ('02s don't have a hood liner or rear wheel well liners, etc). Dodge corrected the problem with the 3rd gen trucks and they are kinda a pain to put on but the 3rd gen upgrade is the best out right now.
