That is one thing I like about Coda: torquing the barrel nut to spec doesn't impact aligning the handguard. The only issue I have - which is different in the Faxon and Smoke Composites - is there are just thin holes in the carbon fiber with little bolts holding it to the metal mounting ring. I fear flexing will tear up those little holes.Cons: Slightly more expensive, it's composite and delamination might be an issue in the future, aluminum barrel nut. My observations so far.
