In this very impressive suburban ranch renovation by Hagan Architects, one of the many changes to exterior spaces was the addition of a wood surround and steps off the sliding patio doors. It has been completely updated inside in a transitional style (see pics), but we are stuck on how to update the exterior. We want to keep the style but somehow bring it forward to today so it looks cleaner, fresher and somehow more modern.
