Yesterday I OPK tested twice with a seemingly positive results (if not 100% it was really, really close). I OPK tested again this morning and the…OPK or BBT? Curious to hear others experiences when they were TTC. I have been doing both OPK tests and measuring my BBT for several months and I’m noticing that I’ll get a positive OPK but then my body temperature won’t spike for sometimes up to 4 days later.Haha! Don't even ask when I start xmas prep. Still camping but I lost my group for a bit. My temp was pretty consistent this morning. I missed my alarm but the birds woke me up. Using the OPK in the camp bathroom was an experience but it was darker from the day before though still not a clear positive. Bbt Rise You may see some variance from this, sometimes it takes 2 days to see bbt rise or sometimes your LH surge may happen more than 24hrs before O. But generally the pattern is as listed above. Between oversleeping one day, some sleep deprivation, heavy drinking one night, indiscernible OPK results, and using the least-adored BBT on TB, I'm basically just crossing my fingers at this point. Thought the temp would go up today for O yesterday but it went down so I'm hoping O today for pretty good timing.

13/11/2017 at 11:33 pm. Dont worry! It's all normal! The ovulation and the temp rise usually takes place a day or two after your first positive opk! Sometimes I only get one day of positive opks, sometimes two. Usually I get a temp rise the second day after the first opk. But once or twice it was in the third day! It's all ok and normal.

Every cycle I have been able to measure the LH surge, and also the temp increase when I have ovulated and drop in BBT when AF is arriving. My FP/Ovulation has been all over the place though, so literally I measure OPK 2 times a day just to make sure I don't miss it. The range has been 18-37 days for ovulation - yup, that's a lot of OPKs!
